Here’s a Bit More About Us

My journey into the world of all things natural, started when I beat stage 4 cancer at the age of 25 naturally.    After many surgeries and a very poor prognosis and of course,  being told to get my affairs in order,  I chose to not do Chemo, Radiation, or Interferon.  I decided to go home and take my chances with the Earth's Medicine. It worked.  That was 2005.  Against a mountain of odds stacked not in my favor, I AM ALIVE AND WELL.
After that, I poured myself into research, studying and reading all that I could to advance my knowledge in all things natural.  I became obsessed with everything that went in and on my body.  I also found a buried love   of gardening.  I keep a garden year round.  All of the bath and body products made in house are all with organic herbs that I grow.  This lifestyle became more than a passion, it became a life long journey of learning and applying.    That Journey has led to the birth of Indigenous Apothecary.  Our Shop is located in our small hometown of Richton, MS.  My Husband Al and I and our 2 sons live just outside of town in a 100 year old cottage that we restored.

Among our herbal supplements, organic bath and body creations, our all natural hygiene and household products, we also offer services that include:  Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Foot Detox Sessions, and  Infrared Sauna Sessions. Our business is family owned and operated.
